Full disclosure failed to finish my hot tub beer last night, just ran outta steam. So, some of that, 4 ounces & some of this beer that is past its prime in in my michelada.

Having a really nice week here with plenty of smiles. I hope you are as well! My internal clock sez it's time for a beer. Stroh's America's fire-brewed beer. That was their tag for a long time. The brewery was burning down but those nutters at Stroh's kept on brewing anyway. It's been a minute since I've had this beer and I like it. I know someone else on this site that does as well. I'm sipping on this excellent Pilsner from The Original Pattern with Tenma Beer Project. Canned February 11th, bought from Good Times Oakland. Did I mention that it is excellent?

In other local news, our Old Chicago will no longer be an Old Chicago in a few months? Heard that they will not be resigning with corporate. It's up in the air, at this point, what it will become. Hopefully, the taps and Buzztime trivia will stay.

Monk’s Café Grand Cru from Brouwerij Van Steenberge. From mixed six pack of 11.2 fl oz bottles, purchased 09/03/26 from my local Giant Eagle. $ 39.99 (Including tax)/$ 0.596/fl oz. Stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 21/03/26, review 3711.
Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated bottle) Uncredited label art. Excellent flavor and nose – good Oud Bruin!
Rating 4.16, rDev 0% - right on the mean!

Thanks @Whyteboar for posting about the availability of this mixed six - I tracked one down at my local over-priced grocery store and found two brews in it that I had previously not run across. Prosit!
