Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for opening the bar. I've got no New Breakfast Beer again today (well, I've got 'em but I'm saving them for the weekend), so here's my other regular drinking beer that I buy in case lots:

The pix on my glass is getting a bit faded - time to go back to Bamberg and get a new glass!

Their Lentbeer was excellent again this year. Hopefully I can get more before the Pasqua bunny appears. Cheers.

I do like that glass! I was lucky enuf to have access to the old GB brewery before it got remodeled into offices. There was a recording studio that I helped build in the orig keg storage room and in an adjacent room within a large maintenance area was the well and pump for the fountain you see on that glass. The fountain was still there but the power had been shut off long ago. Before cars, trucks and refrigeration the lads from the brewery would go down to the river and cut out huge blocks of ice, and using teams of huge work horses, would drag the blocks up to the brewery to the keg storage room, cover it with straw & hay and they had cool beer all the way into the summer. :beers::beers:

C'mon weekend get here! A cloudy, damp, cold day here so this little heater should help out. Trappistes Rochefort 8 in my sole chalice.
Had it back in 2021, the year I joined BA, but didn't review it...until now. I've now rated & reviewed all 4 beers from this abbey. Awesome!
    Cheers!

@BeerVikingSailor the footprint of the Grain Belt Brewery fountain still exists and the little brown door you see was the Main St (now Marshall St) entrance to the keg room. I painted it brown and they have not changed it in 30 plus years. :sunglasses:

Today, the temperature's going way up (around 19C), but there are thunderstorms coming, out here in McGregor--but bad weather doesn't scare away either Gracie or Sundae from helping me investigate the day's new brews, as my Spring Cleaning project continues, and I go through duplicates of fine Ontarian beers I've previously enjoyed: First, whilst Sundae was taking a bath, it's from Markham's Rouge River Brewing Company--their 6.7% Jungle Boogie IPA (my first time having it canned, and super tasting)...

    Poured...

More in a moment! Cheers, from McGregor! =)

Next, with Gracie, from Collingwood's Side Launch Brewing Company--the 4.2% Hibiscus Sour (this was a wonderful brew)...

    Poured...

Finally, again while Sundae was keeping clean, it's from Cambridge's Farm League Brewing--their 5.2% Big Ticket Kolsch...

Have a great rest of your day, and cheers...from The Responsible Beer Drinking Club! =)
