    I eyeballed that bottle a few times, but I just couldn't drop that kind of change on one bottle of beer that I may not thoroughly love.

    NBW, ISIL, and BAT cross-post. 3 Sheeps Brewing Cuvee Blend. 2026. 46% imperial stout aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 15 months. 31% Russian imperial stout aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 14 months. 23% English-style barleywine aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 24 months. This beer provides a unique and enjoyable experience. Speaking of a unique experience from a special blend of two similar, but unique forces, my furnace died on Sunday morning. I said to myself out loud that it least it survived the record snowfall, then deep freeze, before it warmed up. At least my new sump pump was surviving a record snowfall followed by 60-degree weather. That very second I said that the sump pump died. A river formed at my feat as I was examining the dead furnace. So, no traveling to Toppling Goliath Brewing today for Double-Barrel Assassin, as I had planned. I have plenty of amazing beers for basement cleaning today. Fans have been going in my basement all week, so hopefully the mold that forms is only mildly toxic. In Norwegian music news, the new Dimmu Borgir song is boring, but the new Alan Walker album is incredible.

    Pizza Port is one of the breweries I miss most since moving from CA to Texas. Swami was a daily drinker but the whole lineup is great. Enjoy!
