The first of several final cabs from the current season. Looking forward to the return of this BA Imperial Rye Stout in a few years.

Alright, Corfu Microbrewery is killing it with their labels. What a beautiful classic design.

    Anastasiou - Sténtōr

Anastasiou with yet another kickass label and a beer named after a herald of the Trojan War, who had an insanely loud voice. Really nice NEIPA, on par with those in the US, even though it's not a style I particularly enjoy.

Speaking of ancient Greek stuff, I was exploring the brand new and modern subway system of Thessaloniki. This project took ages to be completed because 1) Greece and 2) For every inch of soil they dug up they found a new ancient site, or a bunch of artifacts, thus having to stop operations. Here at Dimokratias Station there is a display of an example of the layers of history found: The layers are (from bottom to top): Hellenistic (Ancient Greek), Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and finally Modern.

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for opening the bar! DAMN! Thundertaker! Wish I could find that in PA!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Night Gazer (2026) from Troeg’s Brewing. Six pack of 12 fl oz bottles, purchased 02/04/26 from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. $ 11.00/$ 0.153/fl oz. On room temperature shelf at distributor, stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 08/04/26, review 3721.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label art. Not much to say – bitter like an American Stout, not smooth enough to be an oatmeal stout, despite the flaked oats in the grain bill. Decent, easy drinking, cheap beer.
    Rating 3.74, rDev -9.7%

The first fruit fly of the season has just joined me, apparently too young to drink with me!

Picked up a variety pack on may way into work last night. Stayed in my truck all night while it hit 16*F. Was 36.6*F when I poured it. Now that's cold beer!

Happy hump day off ba. Gonna be a nice long day of beer, food, and mindless entertainment. Let’s get these pages going players.

Up and at it w/ The perfect egg bite, ne ipa (amarillo, simcoe, el dorado), mast landing / dancing gnome collabo.
Tangy and mellow hop flavors. Not overly fruity w/ subtle notes of tangerine & melon. Nothing all that great but not bad at all,

More of the above subway station. I'm a sucker for public transit systems. Does this make me a commie?

That looks nicer and cleaner than many museums here. Our public spaces, lack of public restrooms, leave much to be desired when compared to much of the World. Enjoying your trip report, all these different beers and places, and catching up on the past few days.

Right along here ba. Not the biggest Guinness fan. But when they break down singles after st. Pats I’m good for one or two. The pillowy mouthfeel is great,

Today's cold, but beautiful, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae are very happy to help me check out the day's new brews...partially a continuation of my Spring Cleaning project, of going through my duplicate beers, plus a European vacation of sorts--including one new brewery for me: First, with Sundae, it's my second time with Toronto, Ontario's Henderson Brewing Co.'s 5.5% Rush Canadian Golden Ale...

    Poured...

More soon! Cheers, from McGregor! =)
