    Have a good Thursday. Happy BA-versary @SawDog505 , my 16th is next month.

    I finished the Age of Voltaire in 2 days. 43 hours and so easy to listen to, Grover Gardner is amazing for long books. Table of contents is written like an encyclopaedia, the whole book is a bunch of brief biographies and history of Western Europe from 1715 to 1756. The age of enlightenment with early science advancement was my favorite section. I am going to buy all 11 books. Going to read The Life of Greece next. 5/5 I was up all night and went to sleep after finishing it at 9AM. I need to finish The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein next.

    New Belgium imperial Voodoo Ranger to start off the evening. strong pine, resin, and citrus rind hop notes balanced by a solid caramel/bready malt backbone. Great old school feeling DIPA. There is no voodoo ranger I didn't like.

    While I was in DC, my partner got us back onto HelloFresh. I won't complain. It's always tasty, and frankly, I still learn stuff from their recipes now and then.

    I've been listening to a lot of Coltrane recently. I'll check out Joe Lovano later tonight. Sounds interesting. I don't listen to much modern jazz.

    That's still one of my favorites - consistently delicious and not overly juicy. Solid beer that one - cheers!!
