Got some focals this time as well. Bang’em out am I right @TCgenny? Care to concur?

 

1) Fair State Black Pils (4.9%): A German Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of dark grains, bittersweet cocoa and earthy notes. Bitter and roasted.
versus
2) Arbeiter Nacht Rider (4.9%): A Schwarzbier from Minnesota with flavors of dark chocolate, grains, smooth cocoa. Clean. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Finishing off the dark lager battles of the season. Another great Minnesota dark battle. First Fair State Black Pils. Dark, earthy, bitter. Excellent dark pilsner. A style I'd like to see more of.
Next is Arbeiter Nacht Rider. A Schwarzbier. A bit more dark chocolate and sweet notes.
This Fair State lager was a cool new release and hope they bring it back next year.
Winner: Fair State Black Pils

 

Publix BOGO Jai Alai is super fresh, canned 3-31-2026 and tasting great! Funny, I bought an extra 6 pack to send to a BA that says be only gets 6-8 week old cans. I guess he "ignores" me because I can't start a conversation to get his address, his loss,......lord knows I'll drink it!
