I’’ve taken advantage of a beautiful Saturday to drive out to Hunterdon County. All back roads. I’m at Esker Hart Artisan Ales in High Bridge. It’s about a 40 minute ride from home and I should come here more often. Having Fauna Peacherine, a delicious single hopped American IPA. I’ll buy cans and do a proper review for NBW. Cheers!

The wife made cheesesteaks with bacon, onion and whiz....with a Sixpoint Pineapple Resin DIPA, easy drinker for 9.1%.

 

Babel - Vizma, Easy IPA

 

I am very slowly sipping and savoring Forest Edge 2, my first Viennawine. Essentially it’s an English Barlywine brewed with Vienna malt. I added it to the BA database as an American Strong Ale because that is the catch all. If any Mod thinks it should be styled otherwise, then I’m totally on board. It is amazing! Big notes of brown sugar, toffee, raisin, fig, Graham Cracker, and cigar. The mouth feel is super viscous and syrupy. Man, I wish they bottled it. I’d buy a bunch. Cheers!

I was looking at my beer stats and noticed something and I've changed my mind. That is Cold IPA as a sub-style. I question its hasty existence. It should be called Underwater Basket Weaving Spaghetti IPA. Thank you. That'll be 2 pennies.
Anyway, I love this site and the VB, and on the cusp of warmer weather, this: Point Green Circle Pale Ale
It's pretty old school IMO and has a slightly rich hop value built on a sweet malt foundation. Cheers!
