I drove a stupid way to try this and relive my glory days with some HopBack. The FM is lovely. I’m hoping they have some to go on my way out.

 

My seidel is a one litre one so I had to crack two cans. No other choice.

1) Paulaner Muncher Hell (4.9%): A German Helles with flavors of pale malts, yeast, Munich malt.
versus
2) Weihenstephaner Festbier (5.8%): A German Festbier with flavors of pale malt, smooth honey, cereal, pale Munich malts. Smooth. (Correctly matched the two blind)

German Lager Battle. First Paulaner Helles. Smooth, bready, and authentic Munich m alts. Mildly sweet.
Next is Weihenstephaner Festbier. More earthy and floral notes. Slightly sweeter. Bottled, so a little more light-struck.
Winner: Weihenstephaner Festbier

 

Plus it's "arm day" and a half litre is just too light.
