Egger Zwickl. Zwickl- or Zwickelbier is somewhat like German Kellerbier, but not left to age.

@ZlaVydra and others, I stayed at the Hilton near the Stadtpark in Vienna. Once stayed at Hotel Sacher too, but those prices are insane, even when you have some discount. Worth every euro/dollar however for what you get. But 'just Hilton' is fine for me

Sun King GFJ (grapefruit jungle). Grapefruit, passion fruit and citrus. I would call it a breakfast double IPA!

Starting my beer week with this Dashboard Series west coast style DIPA offering from Trillium - Rabbit the Club. Really liking this beer and the refreshing crisp feel along with the clean brightness of the flavor profile. Definitely keeping an eye out on future releases like this one. Cheers all!

I was at Schwechat (Vienna airport) one time waiting for a flight, and there was a commotion. This guy in a track suit is loping (can't think of a better word) through the terminal at what seems like half-speed, like he's in slow motion. Five or six fat security guards "chase" after the guy, who eludes them and starts running back the other way.

Those were simpler times (early 90s), and it was funny as hell. Now it would be cause for panic.

 

Today, it's warm but threatening to storm, out here in McGregor--but both cats Gracie and Sundae are curious as to which beers are on the agenda for the day: First, with Gracie, it's my second-time enjoying, from Toronto's Bellwoods Brewery, their 5.6% Jelly King Dry-Hopped Sour Ale...
