Big Dog keying the VB, a much missed patron from France saunters back into the VB, and a 2nd guy from France gets a box of kill American beer...A night's rest and today is like a deep tide. Oh man. I had a long chat with a good friend yesterday and we're putting together a music tribute band = The Doors. That's right kids. The Doors.
The two briskets... Super low heat and different every time. Time? Oh hell, it's beer time! SN Extra Torpedo IPA. Better call Pete.

Good Saturday afternoon, BAs. It’s an overcast but pleasant enough day along the South Jersey Shore. Took a 4 mile walk along the beach, then hit up Ludlam Island Brewing to get cans of the annual The Big Dirty release. Had a pour of Salvatore, Italian Pilsner. Herbal and quite bitter. Liked it. We’re now heading over to Somers Point Brewing. Cheers!

Lunch Cheesesteak with a Heady Topper. Big storm blew in and killed the power but the Generac is doing it's thing....

 

We’re now at Somers Point Brewing (SOPO), which just released 1-888-Quad. It is 8.88%. It’s very well-balanced with sweet fruit (banana, apple, raisin, and plum), Belgian spicing, and earthy bitterness. SOPO does a nice job with Belgian styles. Too bad this one isn’t packaged. Cheers!
