This brew is old but still freakishly good. Kros~Strain Classic Lager
The malt structure has probly fallen off a bit bit the finish is incredibly fruity and dry. Not brut or Pèt Nat dry, but dry.

 

Watching the storm clouds rolling in while I drink “C Squared” a WCIPA brewed with Centennial and Cascade hops:



Pine and bitter lemon peel. A solid beer. Cheers y’all!

Woody’s Orange Cream ~ Evil Twin


Orange Crush ~ R.E.M.

 

1) 608 Brewing A River Divided (4.7%): A German Pils from Wisconsin with flavors of earth, mild citrus, smooth pale malts.
versus
2) Schells No Frills Pils (5.2%): A German Pils from Minnesota with flavors of floral lemon, yeast, crisp pale malts. (Correctly matched the two blind)

German Pils Battle. First is 608 Brewing in a collab with Two Fathoms Brewing. A German Pils. Pours a little darker than expected. Leans a bit more earthy and smooth. It's good, not great.
Next is Schells No Frills. Floral lemon, light tartness. Clean.
Winner: Schells No Frills Pils

 

Can't be any worse than where @TCgenny mouth has been.....

Happy Saturday ba. A much longer sat work day than I had anticipated. Windy as all hell and a good 20+ degree in temps. Anyway- into beers.

Joining @GreenBayBA w/ a Very Hazy, dipa, tree house. Crazy good hop juice- that only would be better if in a 16oz format- or how bout a mini-keg or bucket?

 

Have a good Saturday. My dad is on his way back up from Myrtle Beach to Ohio so he stopped by again for dinner. We came to Fat Dogs grill on holden and spring garden. I am starting with a wicked weed Pernicious as usual.
