Since I haven't had the chance to drink lately, I figured that's a pretty good palate reset (read: IPA break), and I should take the chance to enjoy something different.

    St. Bernardus Pater 6 (Dubbel)

No time for lunch, so liquid bread will do. No ability for pics; hard enough as it is to type this up while holding my sleeping daughter.

Review? It was really good.

    Cheers, BAs!

Hi everyone. I was over on the facebook the other day when my pal who is a chef posted a fabulous pic of pan seared salmon with green beans, roasted redskins and with a kalamatta olive pan sauce. I am trying to learn plating so I am going to make that today. I am drinking one of the beers that I thought might go with the dish. Hoegarden. Meh. I have a nice chardonnay to pair with it as well as that anchor california lager. Wish me luck, I suck at plating. Cheers!

Just got off the plane from Tampa a couple of hours ago. I'm not licking my wounds, I'm pouring salt in them. I'm not done yet, I don't have to work until tomorrow. It was great meeting all you guys over the past week. I killed all my brain cells except two and now they are mad at each other.

How does it compare to the Founders, Lagunitas and other session IPA's? I am moving back to the States this summer and this type of beer was not around when I last lived in the USA.

A 2007 Three Philosophers. Figured I'd start my last ever spring break on a high note! The cherry lambic smell is very prominent right now.

No. This one is from Mexico. A powerhouse strat to be exact. I got a couple others that are American. This was my first electric guitar I ever owned.

Lots of flavor for such low abv. Quite dank, though.

It's pretty freaking good! I'm not really a fan of Stone, so I was surprised I like it so much. I personally think Founder's All Day has the best flavor, but it's lacking a bit in body, whereas the Stone Go To IPA has a bit more body to it. Haven't had Lagunitas yet!
