    Greetings and good morning to my fellow advocates!

    The surprise release of Black Note at the general store yesterday prompted me to start my lazy Wednesday with one of these. It's drinking mighty fine this year, somewhere between BCBS and Central Waters BBA Stout. It's my quintessential bourbon barrel aged beer.

    Currently enjoying this gem in Tokyo, Japan. Please excuse the inproper glassware. I'm in my hotel in Shibuya. Was roaming the city, got thirsty, so stopped by what appeared to be a convenient store... It turned out to be anything but..... Phenomenal selection, was very, very, very surprised.

    As you can see.. loons. For >$10 in Tokyo.. All I can say is, that shelf looked empty shortly after this picture was taken.

    Hah.. I've never found Cantillon for sale in California, yet you find a surplus in fuckin Shibuya. Haha

    What's the chance of opening a growler of highly sought after Alpine and drinking it together with something that was really easy to find and find them to be very similar to each other AND the easier to find one "won"? My "wow!" moment went to the Great Lakes Chillwave, which I actually liked better because it's very close to Keene minus the cat piss.

    Keene Idea was very similar to Hopslam and if you've ever had jack fruit, that's exactly what the flavor punched me in the mouth with. So much that I couldn't "detect" anything else. Weird huh? Great DIPA still, though.

    Enjoying this one immensely...surprisingly good. I found the body to be thicker, and to my liking, compared to what other reviewers had experienced.
