I've had that happen to me a few times. Nothing worse than getting a beer you know you like, Lagunitas IPA then having it taste off and not like you remember.

Wasn't gonna drink today, but it's just one of those shitty, dreary-ass days where the only thing that can keep you going is the treasures waiting in you fridge. Last one of these. Gotta make sure I drink it before it turns into turpentine on 4/21/14:wink:

First time for this DFH brew. Imperial Brown bordering on a RIS. It's deelish...

No specification required, I knew what you were talking about. Any idea if that deal between Green Flash and Alpine has gone down? I heard somewhere that GF was going to lend facility capacity to Alpine to increase their output. You know we need Alpine on the East Coast!!!

I think I have to agree with that. Some days I might want to argue for Fugazi's 13 Songs or Repeater, but most days Slip wins for me as well. Absolutely LOVE that album. Listened the shit out of it back in the '90's and still listen to it today.

Just got back from the bar where I enjoyed some:

Firestone Walker Easy Jack. Honestly, while I love session beers I am not sure I love session IPA's. This has been the best of the session IPA's I have tried (for the record, I do NOT consider Odell's Loose Leaf Session Ale to be a session IPA), but I only enjoy it. I certainly don't love it. Probably don't have much of a need to grab bottles of this. Would drink on tap again though.

Ommegang's Hennepin Saison. Always a good choice.

A flight. Equinox's Devilish Details Tripel, Epic's Big Bad Baptist, Boulevard's Saison Brett, Shmaltz's Funky Jewbelation. Enjoyed them all.

That's crazy! I'm not happy when I have to pay $15 for it.

Homebrewed a porter and wanted to see how it stacks up against some other good porters. Black Butte was my favorite, as it's more rich and complex. Mine is more lighter but similar flavor profile. The anchor was totally different with more dark fruits than the others.
