Funny how The Black Keys have started on this 60's, almost Buffalo Springfield sound (I am reaching a bit there)

I like both, and am really looking forward to both their new albums.

Almost Bourbon County time, but still enjoying Loose Leaf.

One of the shitty things about working for the man is that you have to move around quite a bit... over the last few days I had to move my entire beer cellar four buildings down the street. I know, I know, back-breaking labor, right?

I figured I'd treat myself for a job well done. Cheers to the weekend, BAs!

Started with a knee deep simtra, then some jai alai. Ended up at the neighbors house across the street for the first time for a random toke and a jack and diet coke. It's amazing how a little warm weather makes life just a little more bearable. We've never really talked but he's our age (29) and likes good beer so we (me, my wife, and my neighbor) all shared a couple jai alais that a generous BA gave us. Have a happy Easter weekend BA!

Woah, very nice Double Brown Ale from Fiskdale, MA, local enough. I had heard decent enough things about Pioneer Brewing and I will be trying the rest of their brews after this. Deep toast, caramel malt character with a fairly hoppy citrus balance. Nothing near a Brown IPA but the back-and-forth between deep malts and hops is nice. Cheers to BA and very happy about discovering this brew!

They have done me no favors in 30 years. The life of a stupid Cubs fan, and one that just like to watch the game, with the only professional team just as bad. I do find myself at Rice, UH, or Skeeters (Houston minor league) games on occasion.

OK, no more screwing around. One of my all time favorite beers, and my favorite album....2010 Bourbon County and

I am drinking a Flying Fish Abbey Dubbel, a malty, complex and non-bitter ale from New Jersey in the style of the Belgian Abby ales. It is rich and delicious, one of my favorite beers. At 7.2% alcohol I have to be careful to not drink too much!

I dig this track! Thanks for introducing it to me. I picked up a Luchador En Fuego earlier today. Thoughts?

Finally home from doing "fast action response."

Starting off fairly light, but I foresee some others being opened tonight.

About to enter the "nothing zone" with this:

    Good song to refuel to.

And to continue on into the night, Dallas vs. Anaheim play off hockey. I'm just glad to be home for the weekend.

    Cheers LNBA!

Yeah well into May, as long as the MSRP wasn't crazy. I'd buy it...

Look what I found at Total Wine in Orlando today.
A rare appearance here of one of my favorite beers, so I got three 6rs

Moving ten times in 26 years forced me to get rid of a lot of useless crap. Mind you I only made one move with any consideration of a cellar...
