This was a great night cap. I love the crispness, clean, orange peel taste and remarkable drinkability . . . just perfection as a closer for the evening.

Enjoying some Christmas beers tonight. Tried the new Southern Tier Christmas, 2012 Corsendonk Christmas, and now Im enjoying a Mad Elf...

 

Seriously, those ultras are really slumming it in that cooler

Breckenridge Christmas Ale. I love this year's version. And that's why craft beer is great, the seasonals do vary year to year.

This beer is seriously a diamond in the rough for widely available sours. Incredible stuff. I don't know too many people who are aware of it.

Not much right now man. I have been recycling some old album from last year, since they grew on my and all. Kalmah and Soilwork are releasing new albums in the spring; Suffocation in Feb.

Since I had a Westmalle chalice out for the dubbel, figured I'd have the tripel as well.

 

The lady friend and I have been cooking all night... falafels, tzatziki, lobster quiche... it was divine. Wish I had some pics.

Finally getting around to a beer:

 

Another pint of my Winter ale homebrew. Just got a dual tap kegerator and have been enjoying it to the fullest.

I do enjoy this new track and man it is really hard not to respect these guys that are basically still making brutal music. I will miss Mike Smith though...
