    A 2011 Old Stock Ale. While the 2010 version showed signs of slight oxidation, the 2011 version is still fresh on the nose, with hints of alcohol - in a good way, I might add. Notes of granny smith apples, under a massive layer of malt complexity. This beer may very well be North Coast's finest offering, even ahead of their old standby, Old Rasputin.

    From yesterday - wishing I was at CBC so split this 2011 Beer Geek Breakfast Stout with my better half. Plus it was a little Post 1/2 marathon recover drink :slight_smile:

    I actually liked the Jacks Abby a bit better - it was smoother but the Mikkeller had way more coffee flavor even at 3 years old.
