For some reason, I was feeling a Pumpkin Vibe tonight...Luckily, I usually keep a stockpile for the 'offseason'

We get some. And certain places get Evil Twin kegs, but Charleston had a ridiculous assortment. Aun mas cafe Jesus, aun mas Jesus, even more, and all the other stuff. Many that I haven't seen in NC. We don't get Westbrook. Brewery said because of the laws in NC and the reason they reach other areas is because of their relationship with Evil Twin and Twelve Percent.

East Coast Thx to J-pro and akang for this real nice/juicy LA brew. I've been to the Seal Beach brewpub -- such a cool vibe -- these guys are just kicking ass right now. So good to see LA brew scene catching up to their counterparts to the north and south...

So, what happens when you go to pick up a limited release beer and the guy in front of you gets the last case? Well, at Toppling Goliath, Clark first apologizes profusely and then tells you to wait and that he'll figure something out. His "figuring something out" was a bottle of Kentucky Brunch and an Assassin for us to share! Oh, and then he pulled bottles from his own stash of Naughty Temple for me and the rest of us in line who were left without. Clark unfortunately had to leave before we opened the bottles, but TG brew master Mike and company joined our share table for the day--it was really a pleasure to meet someone who is so talented and so passionate about what he does and yet humble and without pretension.

The KBBS was indescribably delicious the Assassin wowed as well. Those beers were followed by many, many more from the Matt and the other generous guys I met there. We even managed a side excursion to the nearby Cellar for Prairie Bomb on draft. What? Bomb on tap in the middle of Iowa? Why of course! Best beer day ever. I couldn't even get pictures of all the amazing beers we sampled, here's just a few. I cannot say enough good things about TG, a trip to Toppling Goliath is a must do!

Dark Horse Perkulator (Coffee Dopplebock). WOW! What an awesome coffee beer. My first time too and I'm very surprised. I don't even like Dopplebocks. Bumpin' Rregula & Dementia's new album "Turning Point". For any D&B fans out there.
