    Here's what I've been drinking lately:

    From last night:

    Sierra Nevada Hoptimum
    Left in main fridge for a few days - does it deteriorate that dramatically in a few days of occasional light exposure? Definitely not tasting like the ones I had over the weekend when it arrived to WA. I'll be having another one from the cellar later and compare.

    Dieu Du Ciel - Aphrodite
    Good Vanilla and Cacao notes but lacking in overall texture.

    Sierra Nevada - Bigfoot
    First of the year. Hot and spicy. Great American BW.

    As for today:


    Lagunitas - Hop Stoopid
    Man - I wish they bottle dated (easily legible) these things. Bottle's empty, glass upside down - why? Total malt bomb - no hop flavor, low carbonation. This must've been bottled in the early 1900s or who knows, maybe found within a pyramid.

    Stillwater - Folklore Untraditional Stout
    Unsure about the actual name of the beer per BA DB. Its an enjoyable Stout (or BSDA, whatever). Not that remarkable but pretty drinkable. Dark fruit and some vanilla and chocolate.

    Strawberry lambic. Meh! I smell and taste a little bit of vomit-like stuff. Not worth $11 for 375mL. I was expecting a little more from these guys.

    I haven't figured out how to post pictures here, so I'll just write in my beer: Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Good beer. I'd be curious to have this on tap because I feel like fresh from a keg to my glass would make this jump from good to very good.

    A little on-and-off rain today, but I will grill! Ribeye for me, veggie burgers for the wife. Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA in my glass. I bought a Kindle Fire HDX for my kid, but right now, I'm pretty happy to keep ESPN on while I grill!

    I rarely have 90 min at home; occasionally, on draft. This tastes a little stale, sadly. The steak, however, is fantastic. No data on the veggie burgers; not my particular cup o' tea.
