    One of my last 4 Founders KBS to start off my vacation...because f*ck it...thats why!
    Last one i had was in april...must say that i already taste a difference, for the better, in these 2 months...its beginning to balance out beautifully

    Finished cleaning the garage - hope to have the Volt inside by tomorrow! It's not nearly as warm today as it was yesterday; had some thunderstorms roll thru yesterday evening. My lunch break beer is Long Trail's Double Bag Altbier.
    And it is deeelicious!

    That Double Bag went down so fast that I needed another beer to get in me in the mood to install all the window unit air conditioners - we have 3 floors, so hauling the two that go in the top floor isn't much fun. Anyway, Shiner has started to get distributed here in the Nutmeg State, so I picked up a couple sixes recently. I know Shiner has a less than stellar rep for quality beer, but this 'White Wing' Belgian White is really quite tasty - I would say it's deeelicous!

    Just noticed the bubble patterns on these two beers. Both photos were taken moments after the pour. Quite a contrast!

    Allagash House beer returned to their tasting room today so I went over to restock and I stuck around for a flight.

    Victor, Victoria, Saison, White.

    Then I went accross the street to Bissell Brothers for a 4-pack of The Substance. This has to be the freshest beer I've ever purchased. Canned just over a half hour ago.

    Berkshire Chech style Pils.
    A touch of marzen, warm bread dough, hops snap, love the SAAZ, great body.
    Super mouth feel, great lager clean finish.
    And fresh.

    Session IPA taste test: Stone Go To vs. Founders All Day. Beer, tasting glasses, pad for tasting notes, and a Backpacker magazine to accompany the brew on this warm, sunny day.

    Founders All Day takes the win by a hair. Slightly more sessionable in my opinion with a nice hop presence to boot. Go To has an awesome hop profile though!
