For sure. Let me know when you plan on hitting it up and I'll try to meet you for a beer!

    Dark Horse's Perkulator coffee doppelbock.

Unfortunately my brain anticipated a porter for some reason (stupid brain), so I had the wrong glassware, but went ahead with the pour. I've not had much success with doppelbocks - guess they're just not my style - but also bear in mind I was mistakenly anticipating a completely different beer, so that may have skewed my perception, too.

This was malty/bready with a very distinct coffee flavor and smell - not espresso, but rather like Folgers or Maxwell House. Meh.

Sweet, very smooth..like velvet. Can't imagine it getting any better than it is right now.

I'm drinking some exceptionally fresh Victory Prima Pils. I've loved this beer for a long time, and I need to remember to buy it more often.

It's seems AB's distribution is starting to take affect, as i have never seen this in my area before. I must say i really didn't expect to like this and was expecting to give it a bad review. And then i tasted it...

IMO the perfect example of the style, and what i think a Saison should be.

This is among the best beers I've ever had. Top ten for sure. Time did this very well. Huge lactic tartness, big funk, clean lemon zest.
    Cheers!!

Did a huge simultaneous pour of some Hill Farmstead goodness, with AFtW. Flavors not melding well, probably won't finish this, and will try new combination.

    Peche, never a disappointment.

Eating some homemade soup, cleaning up the kitchen from last nights drunken cooking adventure and listening to more John Prine. Such a damn good song writer....
