    Good morning BAs and happy sperm supplier day to all the fathers out there! Day seven of CBFBOBW+ gives this not quite so tasty rauchbier from Les Trois Mousquetaires. BA says it's retired (Label & % different than site) and I picked this up last month in MI so here goes... And it's OK - not as good as Schlenkerla but better than most commercial US rauchbiers. Now to see if Imgur works for me today - maybe, now it wants a password...

    Just curious - this particular bottle shape seems fairly common in Belgium beers. Any special reason?

    They are thicker and do not break easily(good for export/shipping) and can also withstand a very high amount of carbonation. I'm almost positive that breweries like Unibroue and Allagash with normal bottled 4 packs are carbonated lower than their 750 ml formats; but those Belgian stubby bottles are always just as carbonated as the 750s(in my experience).
