    Good morning, "Campers!"

How about a Double Latte to start the day?

The only one that looks and sounds good to me out the pack. How is it?

It's good! Coffee forward, but not too sweet (like some Milk Stouts can be). Balanced. Thick enough mouthfeel...

I would buy a four pack of this.

Yesterday was an amazingly beautiful Summer day here in Syracuse: overcast and breezy, with no rain, temperatures from 63 to 72, all day long.

I happen to have nothing scheduled until noon, so I'm taking advantage of the long layoff for hotel beer round four! This time, I'm drinking one of my biggest wants, courtesy of a very generous @JayORear who porch-bombed me with this - among others - a week ago.

Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout.

~8 months after the release, there is still a very noticeable coffee flavor, and it's perfectly smooth and complementary to the regular BCBS profile. I think I prefer the normal BCBS more, but if so, it's ever so slight; this is a delicious, smooth beer. I'm glad to finally have a multiple hour-long break to fully enjoy it.
(Edit: according to my ratings, I do enjoy BCBS slightly more. BCBS: 4.74 / +3.5%. BCBCS: 4.64 / -0.9%)

Tonight, I'm heading to a pub for a Sierra Nevada Beer Camp tap takeover!

Since I didn't get in until late last night, here are my pics from J. Ryan's:

Great Lakes Commodore Perry. First time having it fresh, and what a difference! Very fruity - berries - and very tasty.

21st Amendment Brew Free! or Die! Now this is a delicious, traditional IPA. You can tell how much I loved it by the fact that I didn't think to snap a picture until near the bottom of the glass.
Bonus points: this beer marked my 500th review!

Good morning, BAs; may your Thursday be lovely, and your beer glass full. :grinning:

This is from a new brewery in Taiwan called 23 brewing company. It's their first bottled release and as far as American Pale Ales go, this is clean and refreshing. The hops are well represented being that is was bottled about a week and a half ago

Stone IPA: Nothing else at the grocery store really jumped out at me a few minutes ago so I figured can't go wrong with an old stand by. I got the 6 pack for $9.89, the bomber next to it was $7.49. Anybody who buys that bomber is an idiot

Had a Bells Two Hearted and DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus last night. My third Two Hearted and they get tastier each time. I've had SBJ before and I liked it better the first time. Probably won't order it again.

With a morning low temperature of 49, I'm staying in stout mode for another day. The weather experts say we might make 80 by Saturday. Going to enjoy this roasty delight, then slay some fungus that is bothering my plants.

Hang in there gang, the weekend is in sight!

I love this camp... Sierra Nevada and it's 12 collaborators have hit a home-run with this concept. I love that I can try 12 new beers in one package. Ticker's Paradise!

GI Kentucky Bourbon Stout. Gallons of ink have been spilled about this one, but I think that the attribute that most compliments this beer is the balance between some truly gigantic flavors. True artisanship in it's creation.

Went though the 12er with a friend last night. Finished late so didn't get around to posting the pic. It appears I am missing a bottle.

I lurked for about 2 years. I found it a little intimidating and wanted to become more educated before participating. Then I realized I will always be an idiot. Love having cool people and a cool place to share the hobby (addiction) with. Welcome aboard!
