    Allagash Saison

    This poured a very clear, pale yellow with an incredibly bright white head that almost resembled soapy water. Quite a unique appearance. The Belgian yeast is definitely present in the aroma and taste. Like the beer I had yesterday, Goose Island The Ogden, this one's got good spiciness throughout the palette. At only 6.1% ABV, there's no alcohol in the taste whatsoever. It's good for a saison, a style that I've only sampled on several occasions. I'll have to look out for more in the future! 3.8/5

    The last of the twelve for me. Sierra Nevada/Bell's Beer Camp Maillard's Odyssey. More like a fine Imperial Stout and my favorite one from the set. I saved the best one for last it seems.
