    At first I thought that I was just so enamored with this beer because of the dismal state of IPAs in Quebec (American ones, specifically). But now that I have had it quite a few times and gotten used to it I'd probably place it among the better IPAs I have had anywhere.

    And only 13 days old to boot...:sunglasses:

    Huzzah for Tuesday err'body.

    After a day of target shooting, reloading, tomato plant moving, and hop harvesting (Perle and Mount Hood -- picked the Northern Brewer yesterday)...it's time to chill with some Epic Brewing's '825 State Stout', 'Old Crow Reserve' whiskey, and listen to 'The Allman Brothers Band - The Fillmore East Recordings' (so far, a decent enough six CD set...



    Now I just have to figure out what Rocket the Wonder Dog and I will eat for supper while my wife entertains friends this early evening...

    Just got back from a 2 week trip to Tahoe/San Diego/LA/Honolulu - here are some highlights!

    Double Dry Hopped Stone IPA @ Stone Brewery (awesome food as well as great beer selection)

    Plenty of Alpine Nelson in LA (this one at Tony's in Burbank)

    I brought some Jack's Abby out to Hawaii, and we opened it at an awesome beer tasting on the beach!

    Some KBS up high in Honolulu.

    And this one's not beer related but me swimming with sharks off the North Shore of O'ahu. Was awesome.

    Finally home (in MA) now and enjoying a beer I brought back: Wanderlust IPA from Breakside! Cheers!

    I hope you'll be somewhere near Albuquerque so you can go to La Cumbre. They make some spectacular beers.

    Boulevard Double Wide IPA. Maltiest IPA I've ever had. Delicious stuff. Drank a year old one last year and it was like a great Barleywine.
