Shorts nailed it this year. I still have another 6 pack left. So balanced with tart limes and biscuity/cream malty flavors.


7/14 dated fresh Odd Side. This stuff is always fricking awesome. Juicy citra hop flavors and almost always a shelf available offering year round. Screw chasing any hyped citra beer, this satisfies me any day of the week.


Nelson/Sorachi Saison I brewed over 1.5 years ago. This is still awesome. Super crisp with bright lemon/apple/pear and white grape with crisp white pepper/clove spiciness. Extremely balanced and crisp flavors and mouthfeel. Used Dupont strain WLP 565 at 85 ramped up from 65 at pitching. I need to make another saison soon.

Yes. It is on tap at Keyport Liquor in Superior, WI at the TWIN PORTS CRAFT BEER EXCHANGE Growler Station for some reason.

 

Mechanical Birds and Custom Concern are probably my favorites of the album, but of course I love the whole thing. It's a tough call between Long Drive and Lonesome Crowded West as my favorite album.. but then I can't not mention the other albums and LPs.. Cheers!

I got into them when I was still in college back in the late '90s which is kinda nuts because I was a serious hardcore/punk guy. They would go on these sick jams that were, you know, different and Isaac Brock is a sick man. That's one of my favorite albums too cheers man!

I think Strawberry Short cake is out now too. I have been afraid to try Key lime or Strawberry because I think it may be to sweet.

Drank a FW Oaktoberfest while walking my 1 month old son in the stroller around the block to help calm him down. He's asleep now so I opened up a Black Butte XXVI. Local shop has a bunch of em so I picked up 4. May get more now to age and drink at different intervals.

 

I wasn't going to drink this until tomorrow but I swear it was calling my name. And I justified it by convincing myself to have one IPA on "IPA Day"

Thanks to @bstyle for hooking me up with this one. Like a Mocha Latte with hints of bourbon with all that coffee and chocolate from the roast. Truly an exceptional BA stout from Dark Horse. Decided to relax and watch the 2014 NFL HOF inductions while sipping this instead of going to bed early and driving to New Glarus in the morning.
