First BCBS, thanks to Gehrig13 in the LNBA Secret Santa BIF.
I've gotta say, lives up to the hype.
Nicholas when did you get this bottle? The new batch is completely aged in oak for a period. Fantastic stuff!
I am really starting to grow to love this beer, becoming one of my go tos. First experience with it last year wasn't great, must have been an old one. Glad I have revisited it. This one is about 50 days old, not as good as it is fresher, but still good.
Big switch over here. But all good!
Merry Christmas to all.
Drinking a SN Celebration...Cheers ~
Some Shorts, awesome as usual. Merry xmas BAers!
AKA tonight's main event.
Hey Colin, got it in a trade and he picked it up last weekend so it should be the new batch? Either way It was awesome! Can't wait to try more.
No but did have a Karbach Yule Shoot Yer Eye Out the other day !!

A wonderful gift from a wonderful niece, Merry Christmas!
After traveling 540 miles in the past 20 hours, I'm back home with quite a Xmas haul and enjoying some Surly from a great trader.
Surly Coffee Bender
Next is Enigma...
Merry Christmas to you all and your families.
I'm spending my Christmas in Iowa and found a bunch of Bells at a local liquor store. I picked a six pack of expedition stout and a six pack of two hearted ale. It's been a long time since of had either of them.
Merry Christmas to you too!
Hope all is well with you.
Pipeworks Galaxy Unicorn! Wow! Big thanks to sleuthdog for this!
Last nite for me !!
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
Merry Christmas to all BA's.
I'm sipping on a Firestone Walker Sucaba on this fine night. No picture because I have no idea how to upload this picture from my phone.
Union jack. And I'm with my family so LOTS of it!
Je suis sur le point de commettre un péché mortel le jour de Noël?
Yes, a mortal sin on Christmas.... still good though! Might have to follow this up with a Rigor Mortis!
Merry Christmas to all!
Ran out of propane.....this sucks!!
yesterday had quite a line up, sorry no pics, but between my brother in law and myself we split 2 cans of heady, 2 FBS, a shorts COJ, a BBPT5'th. then moving on to today, I started with a lawsons finest paradise pale, I think it was infected, didn't taste right at all
then had a deschutes obsidion stout, pretty hoppy/bitter for my taste but still good. then had this bad MOFO, this newest batch is legit!
Been wanting to try this for quite some time! Thanks to WesM63!!
Cheers and Merry Christmas BA!
Also dig that Schlafly TIPA too. Headed to their tap room in a day or two.
At least you have a gas stove
Definitely going Christmas-centric together tonight. First up:
Fanø Imperial X-Mas Porter. Damn, this is friggin' tasty.
Yakima Glory now after a couple of Celebrations. Up next, I think I'll have an Old Stock Ale. Then, I'll probably close out the evening with a Narwhal.
My wife set up this tasting for me tonight, so the pics are from her camera. She poured them, then brought the glasses to me one by one to try without me knowing which was which, as blind as we could do. I will say, the Westvleteren XII was the best of the bunch, creamy, nutty, caramel, and it was the sweetest. I normally like La Trappe over Chimay when it come to quads, and I rated it second to the Westy, the Chimay came in third. I am really looking forward to seeing how the Westy ages over the next few years. Merry Christmas all y'all!
I've been hoping to do this side by side, but never have them both in the same place. How was the comparison? We all know Fou is Fou, but how close os the Cascade? 75% as good? 50%?
Sipping on a big ol' bottle of Figgy Pudding...
Dessert and some monopoly with the family!
An overpriced cup of Sierra Mist from Chicagos MDW airport, while we wait for takeoff to get back home from Vegas. I'd rather be having ANYTHING mentioned in this thread.
Mmm Hoppy Barleywine....
Having my first one of these guys. Cheers...
