Can't beat a milk stout on Monday!!(or any day). Cheers BA!!
Not quite as good as Double Sunshine but still AMAZING!
I cancelled my morning run because of rain, and opted for this workout instead. Making the best of a dreary Monday. Have a great week people!
Day off. #Heady proper cheers
Cheers BA! A bit of fruit for the morning?
Honestly . . . meh.
This picture sold it for me.
Needed something light to start with as well. 5% stout with a smidgen of blueberry. Based on the picture I was hoping for more.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, make it a good one.
Not as mind blowing as a lot of people made it sound but a really solid stout for sure! Would love to get my hands on a bottle of the 2.0
Revisiting an old friend.... Just popped up on the shelves in my area. Almost forgot how wonderful you are.
First time having this. It has definitely lived up to the hype.
bottled july 29th
Just picked up a sixer of this two days ago! It was 7.99! Ridiculously cheap for such a solid end of summer beer.
this can is being crushed.
this Can is being cranked..
Opened a few nice ones last night
Appears that a great night was had by all lucky enough to be present!
Lunchtime - Trying this Greek Beer, Mythos Red. Like most of the foreign beers I have had, except those from the Big three (Britain, Belgium, & Germany), it's a disappointment. I had hoped that the "Red" would impart more flavor, and it does, to a certain extent; but bottom line it still has that cheap, adjunct beer taste that lingers in the mouth.
I would love to try beers from 100 countries, but until we start getting better imports, such as some foreign craft beers that I have read about, I will have to endure a lot of mediocre/poor brew to reach my goal.
Enjoying my brief summer vacation!
Had plenty of Mythos while visiting Greece a few years ago...Its no better there than it is here! Btw..I like the Zywiec glass!
Love dem sharks
Real good (D)IPA...
I'd call this quite an improvement on my usual afternoon coffee
No pic, but sampling my first attempt at beer cellaring. I love a good stout and came across some Founder's RIS for a good price last year and thought I would give it a try. My main concern was my own will power to wait it out. My plan was to let it lay for 12 months. Well I was on vacation this week and couldn't resist trying after 10 months. I have to say it was worth the wait. I love this RIS but after letting it sit the alcohol burn is completely gone and I am able to taste more of the roasted, chocolately, coffee goodness. I had several of this beer fresh and must say the older is better, and the fresh was pretty darned good.
Last one for this bar. Some nice DIPA action. On to the next!
Decided it would be best not to bombard the thread with a buncha posts. Waiting on a night bus.
Rauch Märzen by Pinta. It sure ain't no Schlenkerla.
De Molen Citra Single Hop
And one last Space Sheep before I leave Poland. Great APA.
Having my lunch beer, daisy cutter is so good!
Here for the finish...
Brought the tail-end of pour one outside for a refill...
Good to the last drop...
Tons of juicy citric hop flower action - real good drinkin'-DIPA on a summer afternoon.
What's better than 32 oz of a world class Hefeweizen?
64 oz for the same price!
This is Live Oak Hefeweizen, which is easily my favorite Hefeweizen. It's also brewed in Texas!
I didn't like how dark the flash made it look in the glass, so here's another without flash.
2010 is drinking great. Zero oxidation.
Awesome lunch with an awesome beer!
