Got some friends visiting from up north so figured I would pop this open. 2011 Vintage Rodenbach. Very nice!

First time trying this one, pretty good but not mind blowing. Aroma is remarkably similar to pumpkin pie though.

Good afternoon folks! Doing some grilling, and decided to try this. Wonderful beer. Incredibly drinkable. If the abv wasn't so high I could drink this all day.

I like Warlock, don't get me wrong, but I think ST could have done a much better job with this one. I haven't had this year's but there is too much similarity to the Pumking with this beer. Mouthfeel is too light and the taste is not unique. It was kind of a letdown for me, but I'm sure I'll retry it again when it cool off a bit.

Tastes more like Sprite than a beer but FREE beer is FREE beer (buddy left it in my fridge). Wasn't half bad sitting behind a hot grill sippin' on this but barely considering this one a beer.

Just cracked open my bottle of Parabola to celebrate both my girlfriend and my new job positions.

RIP Robin Williams as well. Awful news.

Believe it or not Ive never had Pumpking as Im generally not really into pumpkin beers, but I plan on trying it this year. Im not surprised the two are similar though, they appear to have the same ingredients except warlock also has black malt and munich malt. But otherwise same hops, same pureed pumpkin, same other malts, same FG, and same ABV.

On the FishEye train tonight. A 2011 Imperial Belgian Stout ... Dark Belgian chocolate, dark fruit, some smokiness, light oak, dark chocolate bitterness. (9.2%) It sincerely saddens me that my bromies aren't over here tonight because 'pretty sure this is the last bottle, not to mention this stuff needs to be shared. The flavor is still intense.

The head died down and then stayed at an even layer.

Totally forgot about this recipe and was a yeast experiment ... same base beer but split the batch using two different strains, the Belgian batch won, hands down.

    Palate trasher.

Take back my earlier statement on this one regarding the flavoring hops dropping off and apologize for the "infomercial" ... as a home brewer, it's actually nice to sit down and enjoy your own caps for a change. (Not to mention more economical too!!)
