Good memories - I was stationed there with the 3rd Infantry (Emery Kasern) in 1971. There were still 50 cal holes in some of the walls in the older sections of town. It's really changed since then - we were there about 4 years ago and I couldn't find my way around - visit the Residenzplatz und alte Mainbrucke if you get the chance.

I went to buy some singles, and they had Cantillon Iris on tap at Sunset Beer Company.

    What a pleasant surprise!

Wurzburg is so nice on a sunny day. I killed a few brain cells there about 10 years ago. Good times...

At Wegman's just outside Malvern. Even though I wasn't craving a lager I simply had to get it. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the variety (and prices) that Wegman's had to offer...

Good (still) morning BAs! Todays venture into my personal CBFBOBW+ is this gem:

I'm not a big fan of Belgium IPAs, but this could be the exception - the hops and the yeast phenolics are well-balanced and one (particularly yeast) doesn't dominate. Pretty darn good. thanks @SebD.

Kind of in a Dave Mason mood for the last 16 hours:

And an old Robin Williams SCTV skit combining The Bowery Boys, The Boys in the Band, and The Deer Hunter. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip. I'm actually new to PA (I was imported recently from IL) so I'm still trying to figure out where to go for my beer.

Starting off Labor Day right. This is one of the best IPAs I've had. I'm loving this one right now, hitting the spot.

Cheers everybody! This was bottled 8/12 and I think it's one of the best batches I have had lately! Tastes like a delicate sugar cookie with a hint of lemon. Nice bitter fades to a touch of biscuit malt and some earthy hop herbal and lively fruit!
