    Beer'd, our local nano-brewery, is best known for their hoppy beers; they have a ton of APAs, IPAs, and DIPAs, some of which are absolutely outstanding. Their flagship ale, however, is Whisker'd Wit, a....well, Wit beer, obviously.

    I almost never get it, as it's one of my least favorite styles. Beer'd Wit, however, has pretty much none of the spices that so often turn me off to the style. Rather, it's focus is on yeast, wheat, and orange peel. It's a perfect after-lawn-mowing beer.

    I'm having a quiet afternoon, getting some errands done. This is making it go easier-

    It's a bit less than a month old, and still has quite a bit of zip. Big mandarin orange quality up front, which quickly recedes to pine and spicy hops, and a ton of caramel.

    Now playing, as my Bruce Cockburn mix randomizes away the rest of the day-

    I got a bunch of singles for my birthday last month and saved this one for last. Spent about 40 hours online and finally managed to book a room , airfare and a ticket to GABF , so drinking this to celebrate.
