    Just finished bottling a pumpkin beer with cacao nibs fermented with Orval dregs and now brewing a Fantome Hiver clone that i'll be fermenting with Fantome Hiver Dregs while drinking a homebrewed Brett Saison.

    Another great day of baseball!! A mercy rule win at the 1pm game and an AWESOME come from behind win at the 5pm game! Sucks one of our boys got hurt at home plate when he scored and so did the catcher; which ended with a parent being ejected for swearing and cursing at the field umpire.
    Anyway 2 of the coaches families and mine met at the Alburtis Tavern for a late victory dinner.
    Had a couple of these (sorry for the "borrowed" pic it was too dark outside to snap my own)

    A little too heavy on the spices: nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Cannot wait for tomorrow's game!!

    I can see why this gets so much fuss. The only other brew that I enjoyed more was Blazing World.

    Definitely an "Americanized" take on the style...but I loved it. The hoppiest offering of the style I have had, but the spicy hop profile worked fantastic with the toffee sweetness and brown bread flavors I picked up.

    I would love to see this unleashed as a seasonal 6 pack. Hell, might as well bring back 6ers of Tumbler into the rotation and add the Vienna Lager to the list as well!

    My good friend Jay visited Asheville, and gave me a growler of this - Freak of Nature DIPA from Wicked Weed. Yeah, this is really damn fantastic. Plus, the more I drink, the better it gets! Total keeper, this one.
