I am now elsewhere and stepping up my glass game for this next Weihenstephaner.
Fridge bad. Drink from the cellar!! Mine is at 64 degrees and holy fuck! Best Kriek I have yet to have! 2nd best ever!!
And now an Oud Floris...might as well keep the sourliciousness rolling!
Cheers to the world!
Haha, okay! Opening now then!
Notch Session Pils
Wow, this is nice...
Awesome music for a great game series!
which bottle will it be tomorrow? which one would you drink?
All of them.
danedelman was right, this is superb with just a slight chill...
My late night beer:
Perennial Artisan Ales' Fantastic Voyage, an 8.8% abv milk stout with coconut
Setting the mood with Candles and Cantillon...Nice work Colin, but you need some music. Might I suggest?
Love this beer...
Hey, love the avatar, and so does my hoodie!!
Haha, or maybe...
Brau brothers, Barrel Aged Belgian Style Quad! Aged in used whiskey barrels! Great beer from a tiny brewery. Worth Every penny of the $14 I paid!
Good to know, have a (1) year old bottle in the cellar.
A classic label (avatar and hoodie)! Cheers!
Done with the beers, but listening to this:
Thanks to Pelican5 a Bell's special double cream stout!
rotating between Cigar City Maduro brown (in a can) and napa smith bonfire
"girl you make me wanna get you pregnant"
This is not a great way to start a beer...
The bottom of the cork was wedged the FUCK in there and refused to spin or move so I beheaded it and went this method....
Even then it was a struggle. Thankfully it was flat or else that cork would have done some damage.
The label and name is appropriate. What a phallus shaped fuck of a beer! I expected the worse given all the threads saying the DH sours are acetone and terrible. The cork having a crack in it and the cage spinning freely was not reassuring and I'm too impatient to wait for a beer to possibly carb up.
Verdict: I can dig it!
Bennett posted Machu Pichu a few days ago and now I've been on a Strokes binge ever since....
Just got home from Haymarket. Had a pretty fun time and enjoyed some delicious beer and food.
Sorry no pics but i had:
Pipeworks Barrel Aged Last Kiss-This was enjoyable but i think id like the non barrel version more. With this, barrel aged jones dog, and oak aged cherry abduction ive come to the conclusion that i just dont care too much for their wood aged beers. Their non wood beers are fantastic though. These guys are champs though and im sure ill change my mind in the future.
Port Barrel Aged Oskar Blues G'knight-This was pretty damn amazing. I kept trying to place the note i was getting and i kept thinking mint. I still dont think that was right but it was really, really tasty thought and id love to have it again.
Grand Teton Wake up Call barrel aged porter-This was tasty too. Subtle barrel character and i really enjoyed the base beer underneath the barrel. Solid
Atlas Intemporelle Cognac and Oak Aged Quad-This was really, really nice. It was really sweet but i enjoy sweet beers. I would not hesitate to have this again.
Tight Head Hat Trick Tripel-I havent had many tripels but i really enjoyed this beer. I dont have too much to base this off of but id recommend trying it if given the oppurtunity.
Haymarket Acrimonious-Barrel Aged imperial stout in angels envy barrels. This is the 2nd or 3rd barrel aged beer from them that i have had and it was astounding. If i had to be honest i would rank it just as high as regular bcbs as far as barrel aged imp stouts go. Just incredible. I drank a lot of this tonight.
I know the song, but anything with Robin Thicke will immediately get panties droppin
I should be able to send you some the next round. It is out of Saugatuck MI.
Its no sex syrup...
From what I understand, the recipe is tweaked year to year.
Can't speak on previous vintage, but I am enjoying the current one.
Looks like you and your bro's fiancee' don't agree on beer, either she's a total bitch or you're being a complete dick or it's somewhere in the middle. (I'm not trying to be a pretentious dick either. She doesn't enjoy the same beer, no biggie...it's all good, man.)
Starting with a Breckenridge Pandoras Bock.
It's ok. Nothing bad about it but nothing to make me want another one.
Then Mad Elf (I can't help myself it tastes like Christmas)
Onto De Proef Signature Ale w/ Tomme Arthur
Nugget Nectar is in my top 5.
I look forward to its release every year.
No picture, had some more SNPA while watching football all day culminating with watching my Skins win the NFC East for the first time in over a decade with a rookie QB and RB. Wish we weren't playing such a hot team next week though.
I'm just so damn excited.
How me and the Cowboys will end our year, in a blackout.
That first picture depicts my experience a few nights ago opening a cork-n-cage from Victory! (Ha!) Was well worth the effort!!
