My first Bible Belt, very nice, the peppers flatten out a bit, really like this brew, would be stunning with a tad more heat. Ancho Chilies tend to be popular, MC uses Habenaros , would think this beer with Habenaros would score 100.

Next up, Pumking's big brother - this one's a little disappointing, guess I expected more from an Imp stout. Not a bad beer at all though, I'll stick to Pumking in the future.

Hopsickle totally ROCKS it! Had that stuff at the source and it was heaven (most bottles in our area are shelf turd malt bombs - unfortunately). All the best with the interview process!!

I found a 4-pack of this today, bottled 7/30/13, and figured I'd pop one tonight. Not bad at all.

    Gracias Jeff!
It's with What I would call the Facebook/Google/Apple of home furnishings (no jinx please!), so I'm pretty amped. When your director leaves to a new company and wants to take you with him, it's a bonus!
And agree 100% on Hopsicle! ;-)

Wow!! she must REALLY like the band, too! :flushed:

While looking at other posts, realized my HORRIBLE typos (I count at least 3). Maybe this wasn't a label misprint:

And yet you still send it to people in other states, maybe so you don't have to drink it?:grinning:

    Reviews:

A nice pleasant session pumpkin. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, toast, biscuit, herbal, grass, and herbal/spice earthiness. Fair amount of earthy spiciness on the finish. Well balance pumpkin, spice, and bready malt flavors. Good robustness. Not bad at all.

Very nice Maibock. Taste of pear, apple, biscuit, toast, honey, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of herbal/earthy bitterness on the finish. Very smooth, crisp, and balanced flavors. Good robustness. Good style example.

Pretty solid BSPA. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, juniper, wheat, bread, candi sugar, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spice/hop bitterness on the finish. Needed way more carbonation but was still quite smooth sipping. Overall I think high carbonation would have helped this out way more then it stood(appearance and mouthfeel left quite a bit to be desired for the style). Everything else about flavors/aromas were fine.
