I'm drinking a 211 Steel Reserve that a homeless person left unopened at the inner-city park where I work; I came here to look up food pairings, but I'm pretty sure it's just "whatever you can dig out of the trash can."

I believe you have professed enjoyment of lagers, so hopefully Jack's Abby will satisfy that, since I can attest to being unable to consider lagers at this point myself. I'd throw my opinion to try a brown ale, just because they are not a highly available option.

Hope this doesn't happen to me tomorrow :slight_frown:.

I prefer those vintage releases - especially the 2010, incidentally - to the Grand Cru. Granted, I've never aged a Grand Cru significantly, so I don't have an even comparison point. But damn, those vintage edition Rodenbachs are sublime.

I found this today when I stopped by the store on a whim.

I don't have much experience with Summit hops that I am aware of, but it is a big juicy fruit bomb. It was very good (as is pretty much everything Charlevoix makes).

At the moment I am listening to Beck and watching it be weird and rainy/windy out....

    Have a good night everyone!

Work today involved way too many people wanting too much of my time and expecting the impossible. So I thought I deserved my first ever Ten Fidy.

Best sour I've had all year, and I've had a lot. Although I still have some Cantillon to sample. Cheers!

We're supposed to suggest things that we'd enjoy, right? Happy to oblige: Imperial Smoked Porter. Or is that Smoked Imperial Porter? How 'bout one of each .

While Rex and @jhartley agree that this beer is best when consumed within 48 hours of canning…

Hank and I got brave today and popped our sour ale cherries. It hurt a little at first, but we were diggin' it by the time it was over. Woo, baby!
