    Curiously enough, autumn seems to have reverted to summer again today, so I'm taking it as a sign to drop the curtain on this year's tour of Oktoberfest beers. We're ushered out by Spaten Ur-Marzen. Not my favorite festbier, no, but I'm certainly pleased to be drinking this old warhorse this evening in spite of the sudden onslaught of warm weather.

    Not peak freshness or past due. Enjoy By 11/18/14. Clearly it has some hop fade, but often that translates to pure bitterness and here there was none.
