    Damn this is nice! Great smell aswell. Probably the best english barleywine I've had. Maybe BCBBW is at the same level but it's been a while I had it.

    Morning everyone and Happy New Beer Sunday =) I don't have any pics just yet but I have access to a computer right now so I thought I would tell you that I am going to Earth Eagle Brewing today. They have 2 gruit beers to try among others and I will be back!

    OH and I wanted to mention for beers from beervana that I forgot to mention the first time - quahog by southern tier, shebang by smuttynose and rhode island pumpkin by newport storm.

    I had these last night. The two beers from trillium were wonderful. The oatmeal porter was smooth and had lovely body, soft smooth a bit sweet,small bite from malt, weak coffee faint cocoa and creamy. Lovely thick clinging lace and a good deep color.

    The wake robin is something else!
    Light, complex and really showcases the rye well. It was like soft heather or a pretty flower on a woody branch. Light clover, honey, lemon really pretty too in the glass. The beer actually shined even in the nighttime with little light. Soft fruity clear middle. Lovely drink I could have lots more. Dry cracker for malt. Brisk.


    Westbrook IPA has a light taste of lemon cake which is why I love it.

    Gotta do a little cleaning around the house before I'm allowed to rivet myself to the couch and watch football. I figured I'd start by cleaning the fridge first.:grinning: Chores are so tasty. Cheers.

    I don't drink coffee but coffee stouts have pretty much become my favorite style over the last year. That doesn't really make much sense to me but why fight it? This was a top 10 want for me so a big thank you to @creepinjeeper for sharing this one with me. Thanks buddy!

    Ha! No, my in-laws tolerate my early drinking just fine, but I bring my own goodies. Yuengling lagers in their fridge only...
