    2 years of WBAYDN... I might have to pull something special from the cellar tonight. :sunglasses:

    I'm starting the day with FBS. I added 4 oz of Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin to it. I think I will stop mixing FBS with other beers. I don't mix very often but I haven't really been pleased with the results either time I've done it with this beer. The other time was with Rubaeus. From now on I think I'll only mix to try to improve a beer I'm not really into. If the beer is already great why mess with it, right?

    In case you were wondering, the remainder of the Smashed Pumpkin is going in the crock pot with some chicken breasts. :wink:

    Followed the Breakfast stout with this! Simply for comparison sake, of course! Sientific research and all.

    The bomb wins by a small margin. The chocolate is more at the forefront in this than the fbs. Also the ever so slight pepper burn on the finish is a welcome addition.

    All of these Breakfast Stout pictures are making me feel a strong urge to get me some soon. Oh well, I'm sipping on another Founders beer. This one is intensely bitter (intense hop bitterness + moderate roast bitterness = WHOASUP palate breaker), but enjoyable.

    Just eagerly waiting the arrival of my three cases of Surge that I ordered... should be here tomorrow...



    This is just a brief instrumental but I really like it.
