I expected this to be good... but wow. I'm kinda blown away right now. Right up my alley.
Took some phone calls, but I tracked this sucker down...
Perfect beer to decompress with. Been out of it all day.
The photo above was taken yesterday around noon. A nice sunny, slightly chilly Fall day, green grass all over.
Current photo taken from same vantage point, 10-12 inches of snow on the ground Having a Brau Brothers Hundred Yard Dash Fresh Hop Ale after shoveling and blowing out the driveway for the 2nd time today...it's going to be a long winter I think.
This is a good one for the price.

Now drinking Sisyphus by Real Ale (an American barleywine) It's solid and packs a punch!
Man I wanted this to be better.
Trying to drink some leftovers of this past year . This one is still amazing with a few months on it. One of the best DIPA I ever had! some hop haze but still taste like biting into a fresh nectarine..

Gonna start today with one of my (always available) favorites.
I'm going to post something other than Stone soon, I swear.
I felt like a sipping beer for the rest of the evening: Weyerbacher Althea Dubbel with plums.
Pretty good, overall. It's a decent representation of the style overall.
Still pumpkin beer season for a little bit longer. This is my favorite from this year. Cheers!

Hop stay shortlived. They are seductive, no?

Enjoying Founders Harvest Ale, new to my area and cognizance, if not both. Very enjoyable. Not sure what's up with the mood lighting at my craft beer spot, maybe saving money on a slow Monday:
