Boozin on this at the Engine House
and she's glorious...
Sierra Nevada Celebration....may have one more. Had a few Schlafly Winter ESBs earlier at a friends' house...picked up my first sixer of the year of Schlafly's Irish Style Extra Stout Special Release, which I think is the best beer they brew next to the AIPA. Saving it for one or two tomorrow night! Cheers BAs!
This years. Cheers!!!
My beer guy tells me this is the first ever Russian Imperial Stout...anyone able to confirm or debunk this? Mighty tasty either way...it says I can cellar for 13 years! I'm thirsty now though! Cheers BAs ~
North-Wind Imperial Stout thanks to Doogie71628. I love this! Very creamy yet complex. The body reminds me of a milk stout, but it's still very complex.
Not feeling well at all this week but picked up my pack today and had to open one up...bad pic...
I'll be joining you! Can't even count the times I've been through that show! I usually throw a DVD on at night to fall alseep.
Samuel Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout, Boy is it good!
De Dolle Stille Nacht. This is one boozy beer.
Any BAs here, let me know.
best show ever? best show ever.
And I forgot to post some musak earlier with my beer pics, so here it is for the evening:
Sweet baby Jebus!!!
Dude, of Montreal kicks ass! My buddy went to one of their concerts a few weeks ago and said it was a trip!
Watching Total Recall
Palo Santo Marron. I bought my first 4 pk of it 2 days ago and its quickly becoming one of my favorite beers!!
Love me some oM. Was rocking them and alt-J earlier when making dinner, and it hasn't left the shuffle since!

NEBCO - Premeditated Murder courtesy of Pete27lax!!!
So far this eve, I've had a Great Lakes Christmas Ale, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, and a Brown Shugga...
Girlfriend went to bed, so I might sneak one or two more...
4/12, the ABV on these are sneaky scary.
I'm a complete music snob, and I'm not afraid to say that Awesome Wave is one of the greatest albums of all time... OF ALL TIME. Fucking John Lennon status... those guys are geniuses.
Like! And of course the matching glassware!
I can't disagree with you at all. I was mesmerized the first time I heard it. A buddy said "check this out", and we sat around for the entire album and missed a few plans that afternoon.
Hes not too far off. It has a great deal of history behind it http://desdemoor.co.uk/wells-youngs-courage-imperial-russian-stout-2011/
Concept albums are a lost art... and these guys managed to create a fluid work of art that you somehow don't necessarily have to listen to from start to finish - not an easy task.
*cues up Awesome Wave*
My last one Hopefully I can get some more from my "local" store
Been wanting to try this one. But alas, it's a lager tonight.
This one song really hurt me. I found ALT-J on the internet but most the album sounds nothing like fitzpleasure. It's probably great, but for some reason that day i wanted the hard sound fitz brings. The rest was just a letdown. Maybe it was because that day i was searching for dubstep or something.
Give it a listen from start to finish... that album seriously delivers.
There is a LOT going on here, and at the same time, it can be quite barren (in a good way). I think if they stay on this course and flesh some of their ideas out a little bit, they will be nothing short of incredible.
I finally got me some of this:
You sir, have excellent taste in beer and DVD viewing...
Nice stout season glass. I just filled mine up with Founders Imperial Stout. I just picked up Tame Impala at my local record shop--great album! The song you put on here kinda sounds like Flaming Lips. It's my favorite one on Lonerism.
10-4, I am guessing I was just a crabby bastard that day. I will give it it a go, and keep you posted.
Deschutes Red Chair. A lot more maltiness than I expected. Syrup-ey taste. But it still is hoppy. Reminds me of Modus Hoperandi and Central City Red Racer IPA, though not as piney as those. While it wasn't what I expected ( A big hoppy citrusy pale ale like Zombie Dust), it still is great. Definitely a great beer/ pale ale/ and especially winter seasonal pale ale.
THANKS SOO MUCH MAN!!! Brent was my fav. God I miss those shows.
