Wakey Bakey Friday my BA amigo's
Alpha king on the train before I get home to hit the big boy stuff
First Wake n Bake ever. Wow this is good, a little better than FBS.
Brewed this 3 months ago and it was okay. Now this Flanders red is tasting sweet!! Well, sour!! Well sweet!! It's awesome!!
And in background brewing a Dunkelweizen.
A little lasagna for dinner and a nice Hopsecutioner.
Paper plates - cuz I'm a single father of 4 and I hate doing dishes!
Both your beer and the song are the balls. I love this song. Possibly 2Pac's best song?
Heady, founders imperial stout, now wingwalker ipa by r.j. king.
Just got back from a business trip to Atlanta...
Found some decent beers at Hop City...
Here's my first from that haul
Because you never know when your next beer might be your last...
Damn that DIPA looks as thick as a hefeweiss ... gonna have to try that one.
Happy hour tonight @ Perch Pub:
*Dogfish Head Olde School 2012
Happy to see this back on the lines. Really hard for anything else to follow it though. 15% monster.
Having a smoke.
Happy Friday BA!
My personal favorite believe it or not!
No pic, but Northern Hemisphere Harvest Wet Hop Ale - Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Make mine a Smutty!
I have probably passed this place, no joke, 25 times and never thought to go in!
Evil Twin Hipster.
It's the best bar in Center City. Half-price happy hour on great beers - hard to beat sub-$4 drafts of dfh, evil twin, ccb, bruery, etc.
Happy weekend ba. Starting mines out with one hell of a good scotch ale.
Love that tall can!
Alesmith Speedway Stout. We just got it out here in Central IL and I can see buying this fairly often. It is extremely flavorful and among the top Imp. Stouts.
I miss Philly already...was there last month and was introduced to some great people and great beer. Gotta say had some epic nights there. Cheers
Obviously not my photo, but enjoying this just the same.
I know the city well despite being one of the few family members not being around Philly a lot. I usually go to Brew//Ultimo, Hawthornes, The Bottle Shop, Birra, and on occasion Monk's Cafe. I will have to keep this place in mind, and the list of beers looks great too!
Nice photo! I have one of the batch #100 editions I may crack open later.
Half Acre Daisy Cutter
Ithaca Flower Power
Forgot how much I enjoyed this...glad its back
...And listening to this with my 20 month old...I dare you to tell me this isn't a catchy-ass tune. Check out the tuba solo at 1:25
Got the old growlers filled up. Drinking some Three Floyds Jinx Proof right now. Gumballhead later. Also picked up two 4-packs of Founders Imperial Stout tonight. Will probably dip into that before the weekend is through.
Being unimpressed by a He'brew Origin hopefully I am at least doubling up on my anti-oxidants
Foothills Seeing Double and Pabst Lonestar.
Hoppin it up tonight. Maybe by the time my wife comes home I'll be a rabbit.
And b/c it's Nels' birthday...NELS RIPS...lil Impossible Germany solo:
You know it! Every Friday.
Were you there tonight? I passed on the Zombie Dust. No, I'm not crazy. They got a keg of it last February and I bought some then. If my passing on it gives somebody else an opportunity to try it, then I feel good about that.
How is that drinking? I always grab two to three bombers of smutty's big beer series when they come out.
That is cool of you, no I wasn't there for the flights, I got some Founder's Imperial though. What all did they have for the flights?
It's not tall. The other one is short!
Bourbon Chocolate Almond Scotch Ale @ CCB was mighty tasty tonight.
All Three Floyds. In order...
Arctic Panzer Wolf
``Randall the Bruce'' (Robert the Bruce filtered through bourbon-soaked oak chips)
oh yeah, and they had chicken wings.
Sad I missed Alpha Klaus on tap, and that Randall the Bruce sounds interesting.
