    It was a nasty day in the Shenandoah today. We did get a nice workout in at the gym so can reward myself with a beer or two. First up is a local Harrisonburg beer. Hoptimization. Not a bad IPA , but is undercarbed. This will change a good beer into an average beer.

    This is from last night, but worthy of sharing. My wife and I split our first ever Bomb! and WOW....is this one awesome!! I especially loved the vanilla that shined through this one. This is definitely one of my top ten favorites and possibly a top 5. Cheers!

    Grey Sail 3rd Anniversary Double IPL. Some good stuff here. I really like what they've been doing lately. They're quickly becoming one of the best breweries in Rhode Island.

    It's cold as crap out there, so I'm enjoying something more seasonal here. Very tasty Winter Warmer with just the right amount of spices. It's not overdone. Gotta love GLBC.

    Just reviewed Harviestoun Old Engine Oil (3.83). Seems they're calling it a black ale rather than a porter now (notified Todd). Followed that with SCULPIN - which makes me wanna hoot n holler and have a Hoedown

    Le Terroir is drinking great. Very nice oaky, lactic acidity with a delicious grapefruit hop presence.
