    Good morning BAs! Hope everyone survived the dreaded Xmas holiday and had some good beers - yesterday's WBAYDN thread sure looks like you did! I'm following up Sinterklaas's visit with one of his sidekicks Zwarte Piet. This is an 8.2 percent ABV Belgium dark ale, not the 5 % wild ale Zwarte Piet 2009 listed on BA.

    Actually this is not very inpressive - just fleeting hints of aroma and flavor, light, watery - very much meh.

    Just got back from my 24 hour Christmas Day shift. Back into work tomorrow for another 24 hr shift, but off today so opening gifts, and watching Christmas movies.... and sipping on a beer of course

    The day after Christmas. Grandsons have left, my wife is working, and I'm lazing around.
    This beer has been hanging around for a while, thought I'd finally try it. It's way too sweet for me.
