Gotta love the unholy trinity of '86 thrash albums. Know which album isn't there? :D

Bought it to see what it tasted like in a year. Seeing what it tastes like 34 days after brewing... Oh well, still some in the market out there.

Currently Creme Brulee Stout. Dh picked up growlers from Founders of some ginger lime concoction and Cascade Victory Brown Ale, so it will be a odd little beer night here.

It is funny that I picked up Master of Puppets and Rust in Peace when I found them and yes I listened to both of them on tape, but three years later I went to death metal and never looked back but I always knew there was the ones in the shadows such as Slayer, Kreator, Destruction and etc who held the true reins of thrash...

Finishing my last Head Hunter ,I need to start drinking some of the stragglers in the fridge, who knows what I'll find in there.

    Cheers!

Trying a Boulevard Dark Truth Stout tonight and really digging it. Profile consists of sweet malt, mild bitterness and a little hop pop on the finish. Mouthfeel is very nice; not too thin and the lacing on the glass won't go away...just sitting there waiting for something......

A home brewed IPA. I usually don't have much success with them but this one was an exception.

Old Raspy XV. Looks great, but it tastes and smells a little oxidized; getting some wet cardboard in the nose and an ashy, papery aftertaste. Anyone else had any similar experiences with this? Nothing in the reviews, it seems.

    How you liking that one?

Have had one in the fridge for a few months now, and it just intimidates me every time I open the fridge to pick something out.

My first glass of Alaskan DIPA from my first Growler bought at Liquor Shed in Casper. It's one of the more aggressively bitter DIPAs that I've had in ages but damn, it's very good and has a killer mouthfeel.:D
