In a heat wave - currently 44 degrees. Sure beats the -14 from earlier this week.

Pre dinner beer. Aphasia. Only have 1 more in the fridge. Doh.

Blind purchase on this IPA out of Olympia, Washington. Fish Tale Ales. Immediately I decided it would have to be at least fair, being from the Hop State...Righto, nice and tasty. Drinks similar to Two Hearted....

Burnsider Pale Ale. A gift from my loyal friend Shaun of of 20 years at Revival Brewing. He is a true example of someone who has started from scratch busted his ass for many years and now has his own brand and consults for many others.
If your looking for balance in a great pale ale this is where to go ( local for the naysayers). A nice rich malt background with a beautiful hop presence. A delicious beer. Be on the lookout for Revival! Thank you my friend![IMG]

Just got home from Proclamation Ale Co. with a couple of growlers in hand. Had lunch at Mew's Tavern in RI. A Grey Sail Captain's Daughter with some Buffalo Mac & Cheese. Great stuff!

My kid asked me to make Matzo Ball Soup for dinner tonight...and my wife goes, "YUM!".
I don't think any of us has ever had matzo ball soup before so this was a fairly random
request that caught me totally off guard. So... it's a good thing I've got Chef Pliny here
to help me figure it out.
