    Last night I had the Frostbite Barleywine (11.5% ABV) from Madison River Brewing in Belgrade, MT.

    This thing was like goddamn syrup, and tasted like soy sauce, caramel, butterscotch, orange ... needless to say, there was a LOT going on. I prefer the Bigfoot from Sierra Nevada, but this was still a treat.

    Was treated to this little guy in a BIF box that came in yesterday. Finished my first official shift off of orientation at work, and didn't get a lunch break, so I figured breaking into the box starting with Lunch was the appropriate course of action!
