Welcome back Lagunitas Sucks!
Some guzzling music, Maestro?
Starting it off right with a shower beer...
We'll see what the Cloverleaf in Caldwell, NJ has in store for me in a bit.
Now sharing a flight of Golden Goose Pils, Star Cluster IPA (woah!!!), Voyager (like a fresh Two Hearted), and Shine On (Saison with Meyer lemons)...
Big Hugs from Half Acre. All I can say is #1 Chicago is the shit when it comes to beers and #2, I wish they had bottles of this.
Ended last night with this....
And starting off today with one of these...
Flying Dog Raging Bitch. One of my favorite from Flying Dog.
brooklyn black chocolate stout
Thanks dashirey for this 2008 troegs scratch 15 (2008 chocolate espresso oatmeal stout). Still delicious!!!
Cheers all and happy Friday !
Didn't feel like waiting till I got home. Nothing like desk drinkin!!!
Had a bottle a few months ago...mind was fully blown that evening...
went back the next day and bought 6...
they had been collecting dust on the shelves for weeks so I didn't feel bad.
Seriously underrated brew, should be getting more love.
Turned at least 2 BAs onto this and they seemed to enjoy it as much as I did.
Shower beers are the best! Especially that one.
But seriously, Maiden rocks
This is just one of the many reasons that the new can craze rocks. I don't understand how people do bottles in the shower, I am too afraid of breaking them and getting cut
So it is worth seeking, Mr Fuji?
No hate on Sabbath, they kick ass. The Wizard is by far my favorite tune of theirs.
See what I did there?
Buy seriously, if you like Lost Abbey Deliverance (Serpent Stout blended with Angel's Share), then you should dig this brew. Schmaltz/He'Brew really nailed it with this one. Dangerously drinkable for 16%abv.
Burdisson's Dwarven Ale
It is crazy how Sabbath basically started the Doom metal genre and whether or not they know it or not they did!
Enjoying this one for the first time thanks to SanFranJake. I like it, but I like my Lukcy and Double Bastards better.
Enjoying some NEBCO Imperial Stout Trooper on tap at a local bar.
2 Sucks, an Oaked Bastard, now a Resin.
Best bang for the buck beer ever. Their summer ale-same deal. How was that turkey-looks awesome?
Now on to some Sucks...and I get to keep the glass. Yay!
A little something refreshing to drink while I make "Daddy's spaghetti".
Saw them at the Dunk. They opened for Judas Priest in 82. Eddie still had hair! Try "Die With Your Boots On" from "Live After Death" enjoying the Bohimien Pils (their best offering in my view). Great tune for the playoffs. Vince Wilfork will dominate-go Pats!
Having this and a chopped salad. A decent IPA.
Adelbert's Brewery - Ramble
A friend brought this back from Austin. Outside of the over-carbonation (boy was this a gusher!) it's a solid Belgian pale.
Starting the weekend out with this one:
Cheers BAs ~
Quick story: I live 2 blocks north of Half Acre. Just got paid. Walked over there. All out. I go across the street to Jewell Osco, they've got several on the shelf, price unmarked, weren't in the inventory. Cashier slangs 'em to me for $4.99 each. So...BIG HUGS to her and to the B.A. Legion! One of these for tonight, the rest for the cellar. Nostrovia!
Drinking IPA's tonight, Sculpin and Two Hearted.
2008 Boon Oude Geuze Mariage Parfait
