Thanks. I'll snap one up next time I go.
Working on getting a case of Verdi soon!
Welcome back Hopslam! I'm not comparing it to last year but it does taste pretty sweet.
counting down the minutes to the end of the day... plan on opening Simtra in about an hour!
Summit old 152
Basic calm and clean for a rye beer. I like it
Ill definitely try that.
Devlin- wine barrel aged saison, and Baudoinia at Clybourn. Baudoinia was the winner but they were both great.
And now on to one of my favorites.
Oh yes! My buddy just got this today, the Baladin Fume! Am I infectious or what? HEHHE
First of this. Really nice beer.
I am starting my evening with this:
Then debating on which of these two to try:
Tried to add some Dream Theater to the Metallica/Maiden mix, but I can't seem to link to "You Tube"
I have been trying to get my hands on some flower power... I am assuming you love it?
That black IPA went down too quickly...
Nonetheless, let there be barleywine!
I second that!
Flower Power is probably my favorite east coast IPA. Drinking one right now.
I'm normally a stout girl, but this beer is fab. (And so is my orange/avocado/sunflower seed salad with homemade lemon/grapefruit/mustard dressing!)
One of my favorite drummers, Derek Roddy, also tried out for Dream Theater when they were looking for a drummer after Mike left. Crazy to think that Derek, who is know for extreme death metal(but he is great in MANY styles), was asked by them to try out!
Haha yep. It's old.
I really like it. I am a huge fan of SoCal stuff, Stone, Alpine, GreenFlash, BP, so the bar is very high, but Flower Power is very good.
Now we are getting heavier! How heavy can you go?
Me jamming away couple months age!
Enjoying a bastardized version of an old favorite.
And bottling a small batch of my 9% D-IPA blasted with a ton of Columbus Hops (along with Magnum, Citra, Cascade, & Centennial), it's a spicy one!
After a long week of business travel I plan on polishing off a growler of Beachwood Hop Jitsu before getting into my haul of fresh Alpine and Kern for this weekends play-off games. GO PACKERS !!!!!
WAIT, WHAT? YOU HOMEBREW TOO?!??!?!? NEED ZEILINGER BREW NOW!
King Henry for $100. Is it worth it?
A little past the 'best by' date, but still delicious!
That sounds damn good! Cheers ~
Victory HopDevil @the moment
Stone Russian Imperial Stout, first time having it. Really nice . . . .
Finally opened the speedway w my homeboy! It's lovely
Add me to the list, I love this stuff. I was seriously strapped for cash when this was available so I only picked up one more. Regretting it now, this beer will be great for years.
Moving on to ruthless rye...last nights pic, same delicious beer! Friend is coming over to try this magnificent brew for the first time. Cheers ~
Drinking a Brooklyn lager with my sandwich from an awesome local place...
Roasted pork, sharp cheddar, and apple butter. So damn good. Watching some 30 rock with my wife. Cheers all!'
Flavortown, USA(also known as Greensboro Bend, VT)
Thanks to wittyname for the generous gift box! This little shiny can was in it!
I'm home from work, so I'm drankin' good tonight!
Drank quite a bit of Two Hearted while visiting the in-laws at Christmas, absolutely love the stuff !
