Just finished brewing a Saison with Nelson and Sorachi
    [IMG]

Recipe with some Mosher book help I made(mostly the malt bill, I kind of went off the wall with the hop additions, but IBUs are in line with what I wanted):
    http://hopville.com/recipe/1674605

    Then:

Fricking delicious! I bought a 4 pack back home during xmas, and wasn't too thrilled with it, but I just reviewed it at a pretty warm temp, and damn did this open up. Awesome. Great hop complexity and moderate malt balance.

Digging into this now. Over a year of age now. The barrel character is very prominent. Awesome slow sipper, tons of complexity.

    Cheers

Went to the back of the fridge tonight. Been drinking some top of the line stuff but tonight settled on cleaning out the back and making some room.. Started with Phin and Matt's and now drinking a Rush River Double Bubble.

Nightcap? Sadly it's very thin and over carbonated. Many thanks to Gherig13 for the tick though.

Got to try that one a couple weeks ago. Really good stuff, but a tad too sweet for my taste. How did you like it?

Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas ale. I had the barrel-aged version on tap and thought it was fantastic, so I picked up a six of the regular release. It blows away Great Lakes Christmas ale, IMO.
