Good afternoon everyone!! Cross posting with NBS#523 again today.
Spent an hour volunteering at a local shelter walking and playing with some rescue dogs and petting some cats after lunch. Even in the snow if was fun playing with those pups! Which of course we have another 3-6" coming down here in the Lehigh Valley.
The snow is pretty as always, but it's March dammit!!
So today I'm having a Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPA
Wasn't completely blown away with this beer. Gonna have to move on to something else soon.
Cheers Big Ears!
Ninkasi Expo 58, a very decent Belgian-style pale ale.

Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree. Some complain of the booziness on this, but I don't get too much. Tons of citrus (grapefruit and orange) as well as pine from the hops. Bitterness is medium. Get some butteriness and carmel from the malt. Hop-forward, yet nicely balanced. Yes, I do get some booze, but it is minimal. Nicely done.
Fresh snow today, yet it's 20 degrees warmer today than it has been in 10 days. Yay?
Took care of the snow and minimal effort on errands (why not wait til Monday?), now enjoying this
Happy Sunday BAs!
I started with these new ones. Finish the IPA, very good.
This ESB is my first non IPA style from these guys and I must say I'm very impressed.
I wanted to share some video of the vines and I found this video of the vines doing Clint Eastwood.

Last time trying to post this image
same thing although you made it way to complicated
Experiment #2 - Got to thinking this might taste good with vanilla & jalapeno. So I sliced up 1/2 a jalapeno, 1/2 a vanilla bean, threw 'em in the mason jar and poured in 12 oz of Dark Horse Fore Smoked Stout and let it steep overnight.
Pretty good, lots of pepper flavor with no heat.
Just got done at the gym, time to replenish those carbs!
Enjoying a "Midwest" Coast IPA from Urban Chestnut.
That's great - geomicro is a fascinating field that hasn't received enough attention. You need to talk with your gut flora and have them get you healed so you can enjoy beer again. By the way, your mom has good taste!
Don't get discouraged - you'll get it. We ALL want to see what you're drinking and we'll give you plenty of "likes".
Is there a teenager in the house by any chance?????
Going to the Hop.

Timmerman's Oude Kriek. Tasty but a touch too acidic.
Surly Abrasive. Thanks @jrnyc !
Trying out Crooked Stave's St. Bretta (Autumn). Not bad, but not amazing, considering the price.
Stupid fresh Drake's Hopocalypse.
Reasons to live in Florida.
Rounding out my three new to me IPA day is Two Roads Road 2 Ruin. Two Roads is brand new to our area and this is a 2/17 bottle; about as fresh as I could hope to get an IPA here. This one is my hands down favorite of the day.
Drinking some Dale's Pale Ale
Kinda like this BA!
